    Hofgarten und Schloss Jägerhof

    The oldest public park in Germany: mature trees, a pond, and a small rococo palace at the edge of it. Five minutes on foot from the Königsallee and still quiet — the default for family and maternity sessions when the brief is green.

    Rheinturm und Landtagsufer

    Two hundred and forty metres with a light sculpture that tells the time, and the curved parliament building on the water in front of it. From the bank you get both plus the Rheinknie bridge in one frame — a subject that only works after sunset.

    Immermannstraße, Japanisches Viertel

Questions

Our guests speak German and English. Can you work in both?

Yes. Planning, the running order and communication on the day can be in either language, and we call group photographs in both so nobody is left guessing. It helps to know in advance which relatives need instructions in which language, especially for the larger family groups.

Can the day start at the registry office in the morning?

Yes, the ten hours can begin at the registry office and run through to the evening. If there is a long gap between ceremony and party, it may be better value to book the civil ceremony package and separate evening coverage, so you are not paying for hours spent waiting.

And if it rains on the day of the wedding?

The portraits move rather than disappear. Before the wedding we agree a covered alternative near your venue — a hotel lobby, an entrance hall, a church porch — so there is no discussion on the day. Light rain with umbrellas on the promenade can also look good, if you are both happy to try it.
