Three things are enough for a firm quote: the occasion, the city, and roughly when. Everything else — the exact hour, the meeting point, the route — is settled afterwards, and settled with the photographer who will actually do the session. Useful but not required: how many people should be in the pictures, for company work what the images are for — a website, print, a trade-fair stand — and for a wedding whether it is a registry office, a church or a humanist ceremony, and at what time.

If you do not know the date yet, write anyway. For a wedding on a Saturday between May and September, availability decides everything else, and that takes two minutes to check. For a session whose timing depends on the weather — the Alps from Munich, fog in the Black Forest, blossom at Lake Constance — a window is booked and the day is fixed at short notice regardless.

We take enquiries only through the forms on this site — this one or the booking page; both arrive in the same place. Leave a phone number you can be reached on during the day: a follow-up question gets settled on the phone in minutes rather than days, and the quote follows by email as well.

What we do not do is quote a range and narrow it later. If there is enough information for a price, you get a number. If there is not, we ask the one question that is missing. Asking for a quote costs nothing and no deposit is taken for it; nothing is binding until you confirm it yourself in text form. For anything that is not a new enquiry — an existing booking, an invoice, a question about your gallery — the same form is the right place; just name the subject in the first sentence.
