Couple session in Germany

Nearly every couple who books this says the same sentence in the first conversation: we are hopeless in front of a camera. That is the normal case rather than an obstacle, and it is a problem of time rather than of temperament. So the first fifteen minutes are deliberately spent walking and talking instead of posing, and almost nothing from them survives the edit. What comes after that, once the camera has stopped being new, is the actual session — which is why this is ninety minutes and not sixty.

The route is planned around the light rather than around the landmark. In practice that means two places no more than ten minutes apart on foot, in the hour before sunset or the hour after it depending on which way the streets face. Joining three famous locations across a city instead means paying for half a session in travel time. Forty edited photographs, waiting in your own online gallery two to three days later.

On what to wear, one rule covers most of it: coordinated, not matching. Two colour families that sit well together look calmer than two identical white shirts or two loud patterns side by side. Wear shoes you can walk in for an hour, because there is genuinely walking involved, and bring a layer for the hour after sunset even in summer. If there is something that belongs in the pictures — the dog, the bicycles, a coffee from the place you always go — mention it beforehand so the route can accommodate it.

What changes the cost is settled before you book: a longer session, a second photographer, or delivery within twenty-four hours. If a location charges a permit fee, as some palace gardens do, it appears as a separate line in the quote rather than folded into the price. The photographs are yours for private use — share them, print them, send them to family. None of them appears in our portfolio unless you agree to that separately and in writing.
