Why corporate headshots in Munich
Corporate headshots in Munich are mostly taken where people work — law firms, consultancies, insurers and technology companies whose teams are often spread across floors or sites, and increasingly across languages. For one person a 45-minute appointment is enough; from about six people it makes sense for us to bring lighting and backdrop to your office. At that point the question stops being how each portrait looks and becomes whether they all match. Munich adds a scheduling wrinkle. During the large trade fairs and the Oktoberfest fortnight many staff are out with clients or hosting visitors, so a headshot day in those weeks rarely catches the whole team.
Team days work best Tuesday to Thursday in the morning, before meetings break up the calendar. Avoid the Oktoberfest weeks and any major fair your industry attends. Allow two or three weeks so a room can be booked and diaries blocked. Individual sessions can usually be arranged within a week, and early mornings suit people who want it done before work starts.
How the session runs
We need a room of roughly four by three metres with one clear wall. There we set up our lights and a neutral backdrop; for the environmental background we use a corridor, glass wall or meeting room in your building. Ten minutes per person is realistic, so a team of twenty takes half a day. Everyone sees a selection on screen before leaving the chair. Each person receives 15 to 20 retouched photographs with square and 4:5 crops, delivered within 48 hours.
