Why choose Trade-fair photography in Frankfurt?
Hiring a trade fair photographer in Frankfurt means working on one of the largest exhibition grounds in the world, and the scale shapes the day more than your stand design does. Walking between distant halls can eat half an hour, so the schedule is built around your stand rather than around tours of the site. The city’s big fairs set a rhythm of their own. During Ambiente, Light + Building or the Buchmesse, Frankfurt fills up, hotel rates multiply and anyone who photographs for companies is committed early. Exhibitors flying in tend to book the photographer last, which is the wrong order. And because press offices and social teams expect material on the first evening, a same-day selection is not an extra here; it is the reason to have someone on the stand at all.
The day that matters most is usually the opening day, when the stand and the team are fresh and the press and social channels want pictures immediately. Clean stand views happen in the hour before the doors open, while the aisles are still empty. Accreditation takes several days to arrange, but for the major fair weeks the booking should be made months ahead. Later days of a fair suit visits from the board or client meetings you want documented.
What does the session in Frankfurt look like?
The session starts before the doors open, on the stand: architecture, products and graphics, each shot from the sightlines visitors actually use. At opening we switch to people, meaning welcomes, demonstrations and conversations at the counter, keeping visitors who have not agreed out of the recognisable foreground. Aisles and hall views are only photographed with accreditation, and another exhibitor’s stand only with their consent. The team photograph waits until the first rush eases. A press and social media selection reaches your team the same evening, and the rest of the 300 edited photographs follow.
What does the package include?
The Trade-fair photography package in Frankfurt covers: 300 edited photographs; Six hours on the exhibition grounds; Accreditation through the organiser, applied for by us; Clean stand views before the doors open; A set for press and social media the same evening. Nothing is added to the price after the session. It takes place indoors, so street permits do not apply.
FAQ — Trade-fair photography in Frankfurt
Can you cover more than one day of the fair?
Yes, with each day planned as its own six-hour booking. It is worth doing when the second or third day brings something the first does not, such as an award, a talk on the stand or a visit from senior management. For stand views alone, the morning of the first day is enough.
Can you photograph our evening reception during the fair?
Yes, though as a separate booking, because a reception runs differently from a day on the stand. The corporate event package fits it: five hours, with a first selection the same night. If the stand and the reception fall on one day, we plan the handover so there is no gap between the two.
What do you need from us to arrange accreditation?
Usually the name of the fair, your company as the exhibitor, the hall and stand number, the days required and a contact person on the stand. The organiser decides exactly which details it asks for. Send them when you book, because the application needs several days before the fair opens.
