Every frame is a story we can capture for you too

Every portfolio shows its best frames, and that is exactly why a portfolio taken as a whole tells you little about what you will get. It becomes useful once you filter to the one combination that matches yours: a registry office in Munich, an application photograph in Cologne, a humanist ceremony in the Black Forest. What is left after that is the honest answer.

When you look, pay less attention to the style than to three practical things. Is there work in bad weather, or only in sun? Are there interiors, or does everything end outdoors at six in the evening? And are there photographs of people who visibly do not enjoy being photographed — because that is the normal case rather than the exception, and a portfolio in which everyone is poised at the camera is showing you either models or the best five per cent.

What you will not see here are photographs published without the express written consent of the people in them. That is not a courtesy but § 22 of the German image rights act read with the GDPR, and in practice it means some of the best work is absent because the client did not want it shown. For boudoir that is the rule rather than the exception.

If you are looking for something specific and cannot find it, ask. A good deal exists and is simply not published, and showing a selection privately is a different thing from putting it on a website.
