Why choose Trade-fair photography in Düsseldorf?
Exhibitors looking for a trade fair photographer in Düsseldorf are usually flying in for a fixed window: boot in January, ProWein in spring, MEDICA in November, or one of the large industry fairs that come round only every few years. The exhibition centre sits in the north of the city near the airport, and the stand you have spent months designing exists for a handful of days. That changes what the photographs are for. They are the record of a significant spend, the material for the press release and the proof for colleagues who stayed at home. So the day is planned around the hall rather than the city: empty architecture first, busy conversations later, and a usable selection in your inbox before the evening dinner.
Accreditation goes through the organiser and needs several days, so book as soon as your stand number is confirmed; during major fairs, hotels and freelancers in Düsseldorf are also in short supply. On the day we start between eight and nine, before visitors are admitted, while the stand is lit and nobody is standing in front of it. The first or second day of a fair tends to be the most productive for photographs of people.
What does the session in Düsseldorf look like?
We begin on the stand with wide views, architectural details and product close-ups while the aisles are still empty. Once doors open, the focus moves to conversations, demonstrations and your team at work, photographed without flash in visitors' faces and at a respectful distance from sales talks. Neighbouring stands stay out of frame unless their exhibitor agrees. Towards the end of the six hours we edit a first selection and send it the same evening for press and social media. The complete set runs to 300 edited photographs.
What does the package include?
The Trade-fair photography package in Düsseldorf covers: 300 edited photographs; Six hours on the exhibition grounds; Accreditation through the organiser, applied for by us; Clean stand views before the doors open; A set for press and social media the same evening. Nothing is added to the price after the session. It takes place indoors, so street permits do not apply.
FAQ — Trade-fair photography in Düsseldorf
What do you need from us for accreditation?
The name of the fair, your hall and stand number, and a contact who can confirm the booking to the organiser if asked. We handle the application itself. Because it takes several days, a booking made in the week of the fair may come too late, so it is worth arranging early.
Can you photograph scheduled client meetings on the stand?
Yes, provided everyone involved agrees. Send us a list of times and names in the morning, and we will be at the right table at the right moment. Confidential conversations are photographed only on request, and framed so that no documents or screens can be read.
Our team mostly speaks English. Is that a problem at a German fair?
Not at all. Briefings, the running order on the day and all correspondence can be in English, and the international fairs in Düsseldorf are largely bilingual environments anyway. Where the hall staff or the organiser need to be spoken to in German, we take care of that for you.
