Why choose Boudoir in Berlin?

Booking a boudoir photographer in Berlin starts with the room rather than the outfit. Many people choose their own flat: an Altbau bedroom with tall windows and wooden floors gives soft side light in a space where they already feel at ease. Others prefer somewhere neutral and book a hotel room nobody from daily life will walk into. Both work, as long as there is daylight and nobody can see in — which, in a densely built city of courtyards and facing windows, is something we check before the day. Wherever it takes place, the terms stay the same: two hours at your pace, someone you trust welcome at any point, and a written agreement that nothing is published.

The best hour depends on the window. East-facing rooms are brightest in the morning, west-facing ones in the afternoon. In winter the strongest light falls between eleven and two. Many people choose a weekday, when flatmates and neighbours are more likely to be out. For a hotel room, early afternoon just after check-in works well.

What does the session in Berlin look like?

Before confirming a date, we talk through what you have in mind, your limits and what to bring. On the day we begin clothed, with portraits by the window, and go only as far as you choose. Along the way we show you frames on screen so you can see how they look. Windows onto a courtyard are covered with a curtain or a screen. The thirty edited photographs are delivered to a password-protected gallery that only you can open.

What does the package include?

The Boudoir package in Berlin covers: 30 edited photographs; Two hours, a closed set; Someone with you is welcome at any point; A written agreement on use — the default is none; A password-protected gallery, for you alone. Nothing is added to the price after the session. It takes place indoors, so street permits do not apply.

FAQ — Boudoir in Berlin

I am visiting Berlin. Can the session take place in my hotel?

Yes. When choosing the room, we look together for large windows, space beside the bed and no direct view from a neighbouring building. Asking for a higher floor tends to help with both light and privacy. Send us the room details in advance so the light can be planned.

Can my partner be present?

Yes, at any point. Some people want a partner in the room throughout; others prefer to have them join for a few frames at the end. Both are fine, and you can change your mind during the session.

Can I read the usage agreement before the session?

Yes, and you should. The written agreement on how the photographs may be used is sent before the date, not handed over on the day. Its default is no use at all — no portfolio, no website, no social media. Any exception would need your separate permission in writing.
