In summer the lakeside towns are busy and the sun is high during the day, so we plan for late afternoon, after naps. April brings early blossom to the Höri orchards, and October has mild evenings and empty paths. What does the session in Lake Constance look like?
We meet at a stretch of shore with gentle access to the water, or at the edge of an orchard meadow on the Höri, whichever is nearer your accommodation. The posed group photograph comes first, with light on faces. After that the children throw pebbles, paddle and run through the grass while the camera follows. Bring a change of clothes for the youngest. Seventy-five minutes in total, and forty edited photographs in a private gallery within 48 to 72 hours.

We are visiting from abroad for a week. Can we book at short notice?
Often, especially on weekdays. Send an enquiry through the form with the town you are staying in and the days that work, and we reply by phone or email with suggested times. If the forecast is uncertain, we can hold a second day as a fallback.
Can three generations fit into one session?
Yes, and it is one of the most common reasons to book on the lake. We take the full group photograph at the start while everyone is fresh, then smaller combinations, such as grandparents with grandchildren. Older relatives get a bench while the children carry on exploring the shore.
Is it safe for the children to be near the water?
We choose a shallow, gently sloping stretch of shore away from boat traffic, and supervision stays with you while we photograph. Paddling is welcome, and wet trousers often make for the best frames. A towel and dry clothes in the bag make the drive back easier.
