Can foreign couples be photographed at a Leipzig registry office?
Nationality makes no difference to the photography; the paperwork is between you and the registry office. What we need from you is the confirmed appointment and the number of guests. If an interpreter attends the ceremony, tell us, so we can include them in the group photograph if you wish.
Could the portraits be taken by the canal instead?
They could, but not within 45 minutes on foot, because the Karl-Heine-Kanal is in the west of the city. If it matters to you, we drive over after the congratulations; the travel time then comes out of the booked hours, or we extend the coverage to allow for it.
How large a group works on the town hall steps?
Up to about thirty people, steps or a portal work very well, because rows can be staggered and every face stays visible. Larger groups move to open ground, and we shoot from a slightly raised position so nobody at the back disappears behind a taller relative.
