On the site itself, yes. The yards, lanes and facades are open during the day, and that is where the session happens. The halls are working studios and galleries, so going inside needs the individual tenant’s agreement and a few days of notice — which is why we do not plan interiors into a standard couple session.
What if it rains on the day?
Light rain is no reason to cancel here; wet cobbles and dark brick tend to photograph well. In steady rain we agree a new date together, and severe weather means the session is moved at no cost. The covered city-centre arcades are a fallback, though only with the management’s permission.
What should we wear against brick and water?
Muted colours such as navy, olive, sand or rust sit calmly against red brick, while bright red tends to merge with the wall. Choose shoes you can walk in on cobbles for an hour and a half. Coordinate with each other, but avoid matching outfits.
