The grounds on the Württemberg hill are open to the public, with vineyards and the Neckar valley below and sun until it sets. The interior charges admission, and commercial photography inside needs an arrangement with the palace administration, so we normally plan for the outside.
How do you handle a hot summer wedding?
Anything outdoors moves into shade or into the evening. Group photographs happen under trees rather than on open squares, and couple portraits go into the last hour before sunset up on the rim. We build water and a short break for the two of you into the running order.
Do you work in English on the day?
Yes, with you and your guests, and in German with the venue, the registrar or the winery where needed. For group photographs with a mixed family we call names in both languages, which saves time and confusion, especially when relatives do not share a language.
